SKB3A105 Emergency Ambulance Air Vacuum Mattress Stretcher
The SKB3A105 Vacuum Mattress is a specialized medical device designed for emergency care, helping to immobilize the patient’s entire body when spinal injuries or severe trauma are suspected. The mattress uses polymer beads and a vacuum pump to create a customized mold that conforms closely to the patient’s body, helping minimize bone movement and reduce the risk of secondary injuries during transportation.

Instructions for Use
Step 1 – Prepare the Mattress:
Place the mattress on a firm, flat surface and distribute the internal beads evenly to ensure proper weight distribution.
Step 2 – Position the Patient:
Carefully transfer the patient onto the mattress. Use the log-roll technique when spinal injury is suspected.
Step 3 – Shape the Mattress:
Adjust the polymer beads to conform closely to the patient’s body and maintain the desired position.
Step 4 – Apply Vacuum:
Connect the pump to the vacuum valve and evacuate the air until the mattress becomes firm and securely conforms to the patient’s body.
Step 5 – Additional Securing:
Use the straps, if provided, to further secure the patient during transportation.
Step 6 – After Transportation:
Open the valve to allow air back into the mattress. The mattress will become soft again, allowing the patient to be removed easily.
